When does my gas safety certificate run out?
If a home has gas, it needs a safety check every year. Put in the date from your last certificate and we’ll tell you when the next one’s due.
How often does a landlord need a gas safety check?
Every gas appliance, pipe and flue you provide has to be checked by a Gas Safe registered engineer once a year. You keep the record, and the tenant gets a copy.
If you let a home without a valid check, the fine has no upper limit and a prosecution can mean up to two years in prison.
